We believe that The 3-Colors of Ministry book published by NCD Discipleship Resources is a great tool to start the discussion and discovery of our church body’s individual and collective spiritual giftings. We appreciate this book’s trinitarian approach to identifying and developing of spiritual gifts.

In this manual you will find a condensed, customized version of the information provided in The 3-Colors of Ministry book intended only for our church body to use for internal discovery and growth. We have made slight modifications and updates to some of the materials originally found in the book to aid in better understanding our local, contextual gifting make-up.

Important Note: The original source book was geared more toward bigger, institutional church operations. While we have modified this to fit our body’s “Kingdom based” approach, there are still elements & language that reflect the original source. In those instances, please “turn to wonder” and reflect on how they can be applied to our approach.

Just a Tool: It is important to remember that this is simply a tool for us to use. Nothing more. It is not the a place to find our identity or purpose, but an instrument to aid us in communion with God and each other. Ultimately, it is in that communion that we find the deeper things of life.
